Professional division
Avant-Garde is pleased to offer a professional music division geared to individuals who want to pursue a career in music and pursue undergraduate studies.

As you take your instrument class and continue progressing, you will need to study harmony, counterpoint, analysis and history to enable you to graduate with Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT diploma. Our program is based on the RCM syllabus. You will be required to take the practical examination for grades 9 to ARCT.

Our program focuses on Classical Music, developing professional-grade musicianship and discipline. We prime you for serious performance, the ability to critique and be critiqued, to exercise critical thinking skills and become a confident instructor.
