FunTime Piano
In FunTime Piano your child will learn the core concepts and skills of piano playing in a group setting. This the perfect program for children 4 to 6 years of age.
During class your chidl will enjoy:
1. learning music concepts and notation
2. developing music skills (sense of pulse, ear training, intonation) and physical skills (finger control and coordination)
3. playing the keyboard with proper posture, hand position, and confidence
In FunTime Piano, everybody feels invited to work together and help each other!
After completing FunTime Piano your child will be ready to continue piano or other instrument of your choice in FunTime Instrumental Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does my child need to be 4 years old to participate in FunTime Piano?
Age is a guideline only. If your child is about three (3) months away of being 4 years old, feels comfortable participating in activities without you, and is able to follow simple instructions then your child will thrive in class.
This is also an excellent program for six year old children who enjoy working in a group setting and this is their first time taking music lessons
2. Can I register my child at any time?
Children can join up to the second class. Because learning builds on the knowledge from the previous lessons, late registration can only be accommodated early into the program.
Children that have been taking lessons one-on-one for 3 to 4 weeks may transfer to FunTime Piano after a brief evaluation with the instructor
3. Do I need to buy books and other materials?
The materials fee covers all the books and materials we use in class throughout the duration of the program.
4. Do I need to have a piano or keyboard at home?
Having a piano or keyboard at home is required. We will be happy to offer some guidance if you would like to acquire/lease an instrument for the duration of the program.
