Frequently Asked Questions

1. What materials do I need for the lessons?

You will need music books (your teacher will tell you which ones) and an instrument to practice at home. We will be happy to offer guidance as to the options for acquiring/leasing an instrument if you do not have one already.

2. What is the length of the lessons and how long is the term ?

You will start with a 30-minute lesson. Based on your progress and input your teacher may recommend to increase the lesson length to 45 minutes then to 60 minutes later on.

We have two terms. The fall term goes from September to mid-June. The Summer goes from mid-July to mid-August.

3. What happens if I need to miss a lesson?

You have three flex lessons during the fall term. This means that you can postpone a lesson provided you give us three days advanced notice.

4. What is the benefit of the six-lesson package?
